ROCKET FROM THE CRYPT
"Pigeon Eater"

All hands on the production board for Rocket From The Crypt's latest 7"-when every instrument pins the needle way into the red, it may be hard to pick out the individual components (not to mention the lyrics) but it sure makes things more exciting. The dust-ball production of "Pigeon Eater" isn't the only kinetic force in the song, as the guitars, saxes and Speedo's angry roar all egg each other on faster and louder until the song finishes in a huff. "Paste That You Love" starts slow, threatens and then delivers a weighty downpour of implacable megaphones and distortion at an almost funereal pace for this band.
